Our last day in London, we did a bit of shopping, then had a fantastic brunch in a converted firehouse, the Chiltern Firehouse. Then we had a nice walk through Marlebone. Afterwards we hopped in a cab and headed to the Shoreditch neighborhood. Before dinner, we took a little detour to find my old flat from when I was an exchange student in college. Thanks to an old classmate who remembered the exact address, we found it! That evening, we had dinner with my cousin and his wife, who lived in Bristol at the time. The next morning, we bid Jose and Erik goodbye and headed home to Boston.
We absolutely lucked out with the weather all week. It didn't rain once, and it was sunny and mild almost every day. It was a bit chilly at the beginning of the week, but it warmed up spectacularly by the end.
