Veronica's "Home" Day with Lola and Gramps (composed by Gramps)

I wrapped up nice and warm for my walk to Starbucks.

It was quite cold even though the sun was shining.

I was a bit grumpy because they wanted me to put on all the straps even though I was bundled up and zipped in like a corpse in a body bag.

How the hell can I fall out? Duh.
Things got better when I got to Starbucks. I had a capuccino and most of Gramps’s cinnamon scone. I read the New York Times and talked to quite a lot of people who all thought I was cute.

One lady thought I was Ultra Cute. I hope Ultra means something nice.

Lola dove the car down and took about two hours to find parking. She’s funny.
I walked all the way to the library from Starbucks. We saw two huge Canada geese right on the footpath.

Scary. I think I prefer ducks.
This machine with the mirrors was fun. I stared down a boy who was on it and then kept a little girl at bay while I used it. Some of these people think they own everything.

It was good fun and beats the hell out of reading books at the library.
I then drove over to Wholefoods. Cool truck, di ba?
Bit of road rage here. One of the guys was unpacking apples and blocking the way. Man, they show no consideration.
Bought some brussel sprouts.
Got some cucumbers too. They go well with Hendricks. Really liked that ice with gin on it last night. (burp..)
Had lunch at Wholefoods with the old guys. I had soup and crackers, Gramps scarfed down a big pile of pizza and Lola ate half a chicken and lots of rice..

When I got home I was really exhausted. I went to sleep at 1:20pm and intend to sleep for at least 2 hours.

Then I might go for a walk in the woods. I’ll see if Lola and Gramps want to come with me.

Where on earth are my parents? Aren’t there supposed to be responsible adults with me?

Breakfast with Veronica (composed by Gramps)

I feed myself now. I don’t make too much mess but wear a plastic coat in case the helpers drop stuff on me.
Hate getting these early morning phone calls from the office. They always panic. I told them I’d be there at 9AM to sort it out.
I’ve been testing my train designs and crashing quite a few on my indoor rail track.
Gramps really doesn’t understand much about crumple zones--but I let him help with the cleaning up. Man, those damn M&M pyjamas give me a headache.
Pretty cool, huh? Just got ready for the office. They are going to freak out when they see the orange shoes my Lola brought back from Manila.
Here’s a close up of my new shoes. Not sure that Lola understands that holes in shoes in Boston when it is below zero is not such a good idea. But we have to humor her.
This is my new ukelele that Lola also brought back from Manila. I got two suitcases of pasalubong but my uke is the best.
My first public concert!!

Photos from Brunch

Photos that Gramps (Ian) took of Rocky (Veronica) last weekend for brunch. She's got a piece of bacon in her hand that she's happily munching on.

Dear Patricia & Adrian,
Veronica absolutely loved blowing bubbles from the wand! Each time she made a bubble she would clap her hands and say, "Yay V-V." Have an awesome weekend!
