Last weekend we participated in our town's annual Halloween festivities. Gramps was visiting for the weekend so we had lots of good photos taken. It's rare to have a photo with all four of us in it, but here's a good one that Gramps took:

| Boston LeBuffes |
Veronica dressed up as her favorite character, Doc McStuffins! Here she is posing with her stethoscope, doctor's bag, doctor's coat (which is embroidered with "Dr. LeBuffe" above the chest pocket!), and Stuffy the dragon. Doc McStuffins is a new Disney character. She is a little girl who is a doctor to her stuffed animals and toys, and she wants to be a doctor when she grows up, just like her mother. She gives her stuffed animals and toys check-ups, makes diagnoses of their ailments, and fixes them up!

Little Max went as a baby deer. Here he is with one of the maracas that the Winchester Community Music School was handing out.

This is a photo of just some of the many families waiting to participate in the Halloween parade. Some of the other costumes were really neat. A family of four dressed up as the band KISS, complete with face make-up on everyone, including the toddler in the stroller. I should have taken a photo.

Gramps took this great photo of our little family of four in the parade.

The weather was fantastic and quite warm for this time of year. Max had a great time!

The parade ended in the town center, where all of the stores were handing out candy. Here we are in the ice cream shop.

It was a bit of a zoo in town, but Max didn't seem to mind all the noise and craziness of the sugar-loaded kids running around.

After trick-or-treating at the stores, we headed to the Farmers' Market on the Town Common.

We picked up some veggies for the week, then headed to Town Hall for the Halloween party!

| Veronica and a Halloween cat. |
There was live music, snacks, balloons, face painting:
 |
| Veronica requested a butterfly. |
And pumpkin decorating!
 |
| You can't have too much pink glitter, ever. |
I think Max is contemplating what his costume will be next year:
 |
| Deep thoughts. |
After a very busy morning parading, trick-or-treating, marketing, face painting, and pumpkin decorating, we headed back home. On our way home is great park that happened to have a big pile of leaves just waiting to be played with:

It looks like Veronica was cooking up some mischief:
 |
| "Hmm, what to do with all these leaves...?" |
She decided to have a leaf battle with Daddy!

She should have figured he's had many more years of practice!

Here is Veronica with Gramps underneath a gorgeous tree on our walk home.
