Boston LeBuffes Activities from July 2025 to November 2025

Ho Ho Ho! I hope you all are enjoying the holidays. Here are a few more activities/albums that we have been up to in the last five months.

July began with our annual trip to East Hampton for the week of July 4th. While in the Hamptons, Veronica and I tried Barry's a few times with Jose and Erik. Definitely a great workout! We also visited Jenn and her new house in Bridgehampton. Along with the customary swimming pool, they have a fire pit, vegetable garden, and a batting cage! Max really enjoyed pitching and hitting in it. July also included baseball for Max, and Adrian and Patricia going to see the Middle Aged Dad Jam Band with friends. So much fun! We dropped Veronica off at Wavus Camp, then hung out with my cousin Rob and his family in Maine. Patricia celebrated with her mom friends at the annual Ladies' Night for charity at our local boat club (always a good time, and usually ending up in the pool!), and Veronica began driving lessons. And my lola (grandmother) turned 101 in the Philippines! Here is the link to the July photos.

And here is the link to the Wavus Camp photos from this summer. As always, Veronica had a fantastic time at camp.

In August, Max played lots of baseball, Veronica was away at camp, and we spent some time with another cousin of mine (from the other side of my family) and his family. They visited from LA and we spent the weekend with them in Newburyport before they explored Boston/Cambridge on their own. It was great for Max to spend some time with his second cousins, though we did miss having Veronica with us. Also, we cooked a seafood fest and Adrian taught Max how to shuck an oyster! Click here for August photos.

After Veronica came back from camp, Jose and Erik took the kids to Italy! It was super generous of them. They spent a week in Rome, then rented a villa just outside of Sienna. Adrian and I spent a couple of days in Sienna, then joined them in the villa. It was a fantastic! The villa was on a working vineyard and olive orchard, and the kids were in the pool or in the hot tub daily. The food in Tuscany is incredible; we were in heaven! We also took day trips to Florence and San Gimignano. A truly amazing vacation! Click here for our photos from Italy!  And click here for Jose's photos.

September included the first day of school (Max is in 8th and Veronica is a sophomore in high school), Adrian and Patricia celebrated the Winchester Boat Club 125th Anniversary Gala, Max and Adrian went to a Red Sox game, Max started club basketball season, and Veronica turned 16! She wanted to celebrate with her best friend Caroline, who is 7 days younger. So we and Caroline's parents threw them a big Sweet 16 birthday party at the boat club. The girls did a fantastic job with the decorations and the party music playlists. The girls and their girlfriends danced up a storm! So much so that the staff on first floor said they could see the ceiling shaking! Big thanks to my mom for making both birthday cakes for the girls, which the girls help decorate! Here is a link to photos from September, and here is a link to photos from the Sweet 16 party.

In October Max played more basketball, Patricia celebrated a birthday, we went to two Halloween parties (one party's theme was monsters so we went with Sesame Street monsters!), Jose came for a visit, and Veronica played in her high school band concert. Veronica and Patricia also went to a Laufey concert, and we celebrated the 30th Wine & Dine in Boston. Here is a link to October photos, and Jose's photo album, photos from the Laufey concert, and the 30th Wine & Dine.

November included a work trip to Taiwan for Adrian, a Ladies' Night for Patricia, Veronica playing the piccolo in our town's local Veteran's Day parade (it was c-c-cold!), a dance workshop for Veronica, more basketball for Max, and Thanksgiving! Click here to see the photos from November.

I can't believe I've finally caught up with this blog post! We miss you all and hope to see you soon!
Merry Christmas! Maligayang Pasko!

Boston LeBuffe Activities from January 2025 to June 2025

Happy Holidays! I hope your holidays have begun happily.

This is what we were up to at the beginning of this year. (I'm catching up! Slowly but surely!)

In January, Max played a ton of basketball, Veronica got her ears double pierced with her friend Caroline, and Veronica played in a winter concert at her high school. Click here for January 2025 photos.

In February, Max played more basketball, Adrian participated in the local trivia bee for charity, Adrian celebrated his birthday, and we had a rare occurrence of Max practicing his trumpet (in preparation for a test in band class, of course)! Click here for February 2025 photos.

In February, we also went to Puerto Rico for the kids' February Break. We joined our friends for part of the week, then explored on our own. Here are the photos from our trip to PR!

March included seeing Swan Lake with friends, an Apres-Ski themed party at the Boat Club, lots of basketball for Max, cross country skiing for Veronica, the 7th Grade Dance for Max, the Freshman Semi-formal for Veronica, and Veronica trying her hand at making fresh pasta. Click here for March 2025 photos. In March, Veronica's dance company also completed in two different dance competitions in back-to-back weekends. They did great! Here are the photos and videos.

In April, Veronica and Max were both in a band concert at the high school, a charity function for Adrian and Patricia, the start of baseball season for Max, and Easter brunch at one our fave seafood restaurants. We also went to the Berkshires in western Massachusetts for the kids' April Break. We explored the incredible MASSMoCA, stayed at Porches, had many delicious meals, and visited the Basketball Hall of Fame. Click here for April photos and videos.

May brought birthdays for both Max and Jose/Ninong, lots of baseball for Max, Mother's Day for Patricia, Max playing trumpet and Veronica playing flute at the annual En Ka Parade, Veronica playing flute in the high school band concert, Veronica playing piccolo in her high school band in our town's annual Memorial Day Parade. Yes, she plays both the flute and the piccolo! Click here for May 2025 photos and videos. And here are Jose's photos, and here are UI's photos from May.

In June, Max played more baseball, the school year came to an end, we celebrated Adrian on Father's Day, and Max graduated from the baseball Majors in our town. He was even one of the kids nominated for a Golden Glove award. Click here for June photos and videos. June also brought Veronica's dance school's annual dance recital. Here is a link to recital photos, and here is the link to the recital video.

Happy Holidays!

Love from Boston!
