Today Preschool and PreK enjoyed lots of physical activity outside! Renee put together games and activities and we had a field day! We played hopscotch, ran relay races and went on car rides!

Hi guys,
Today in pre-k we opened up a new building kit. Max had parts everywhere and seemed a little overwhelmed. He asked for help and I suggested that he try to work it out on his own. Together him and Micah figured out how to build the vehicles. They brainstormed together and figured it out. It was a really cool process to watch. Max was so proud of himself.

Kids' Corner Wow Awards & T-Ball Banquet 21Jun2017
Today was quite a day for Veronica and Max. The K-1 room at Kids' Corner (KC) had their annual Wow Awards. Last year, Veronica received the "Most Independent" award. This year, apparently, Veronica and her KC friends all coveted the "All Around All STAR" award. Well, guess who got it? Saving the best award for last, K-1 teacher Jillian gave the award to Veronica. Veronica was SO ECSTATIC she was practically vibrating!
Poor Max had to sit through almost an hour of the awards ceremony. That's why you hear me trying to calm him in the video!
And here is Veronica right after the awards ceremony:
After the KC Wow Awards, we waited for Daddy at Dunkin' Donuts. The kids shared this blue slushy sugar concoction, so I asked them to show me their brain freeze faces.
After Daddy arrived we headed over to Max's T-Ball Banquet. All of the little t-ballers got little trophies. Here is Max and his team with their trophies.

Max Graduates from Pre-K! 05Jun2017
Max's school held a graduation ceremony for all of the kids moving on to kindergarten (or Pre-K for some towns). The kids wore fancy robes and sang a few songs before receiving their "diplomas". Here is the little concert. Max was super into singing and was probably the loudest!

We are super proud of him! To celebrate, Max picked the ramen place for dinner!

May 2017
Other than Veronica's ballet recital, Max's birthday, and Mother's Day, May also brought a big chop haircut for Veronica, the Lincoln May Day celebration, finger puppets, a trip to the beach in Nahant, neighborhood friends, and roller skating. It's been a particularly wet spring here so the May Day celebration was brought indoors. Click to enlarge photos.

En Ka Fair May 2017
As always, we had a blast at this year's En Ka Fair! Click the photos to enlarge.
They will probably have no more interest in the little kiddie rides next year, like this one!
Veronica was DETERMINED to ride as many big kid rides as possible. This ride had my heart up in my throat while watching her.
This was the first year she was actually able to somersault on the bungee! See the video in the photo album link below.
We rode this as a family. Max was just tall enough. Daddy insisted on spinning this thing while we rode, almost making me vomit. I'm getting old.
