We're very excited to be going early next year.

This month in pre-Kindergarten, Veronica and her classmates are discussing the world and all the different places in it (countries, states, towns, etc.). 

Veronica was very proud to tell her classmates 2 things:

1. That she is going to the Philippines soon!

2, That there are only 2 kinds of weather in the Philippines: Hot and Very Hot!

We have had a blast playing and learning with our friends. We have been working on our fine motor skills. On Monday we used some markers to trace different shapes. Today we used some tiny pegs to make an outline of shapes drawn ona peg board. Some friends also used some snap blocks to make structures. We have also been enjoying the sunny weather outside with lots of gross motor activities. Have a wonderful day!

We participated in lots of fun shape activities. For this activity we used different shapes in fall colors to make some fall shape trees. We used our fine motor skills to spread glue onto our trees. Then we used our shapes to decorate our trees. While working on this activity we talked about the different shapes; squares, circles, triangles, and rectangles, as well as the different colors; brown, green, red, orange, and yellow. We continued to learn about shapes through lots of fun art and fine motor activities. On Tuesday we used some large rings and string to practice our lacing. On Wednesday we dipped cups into paint to make circle on a piece of paper. On Thursday we used some glue and different colored square to make beautiful mosaic pictures. We have started learning about shapes! We used lots of different shapes to make a shape collage. On Tuesday we used some pom-poms dipped in paint to make circles. We also worked on using some shape puzzles and painting with some circles, triangles, rectangles, and squares. Have a wonderful weekend!
