Out of nowhere (Adrian played the album maybe a week ago), the kids were singing this Here Lies Love Song, 11 Days, in the shower last night so I made a video after they got dressed.

Hi guys,
Today we started learning about the life cycle of a plant. The kids were really had fun with this and had a lot of questions and shared many thoughts they had about this.  We learned about the life cycle and then the kids made their own flowers. Going forward we will plant flowers and vegetables. We will watch them grow and observe different roots as they grow. The kids were really interested in keeping our earth green by planting and caring for plants and flowers. I bet they will be a big help at home while you start your spring planting.

Veronica's Winter Concert

Veronica's Winter Concert happened on March 1st. It was unseasonably warm so she was happy to be able to wear a sleeveless dress and her criss-cross dress shoes. She was all the way at the front and played the drum. This unfortunately meant she was partially blocked by the music but we still managed to watch her.

Gramps' Visit, February 2017

Gramps admirably braved the Boston winter and came for a visit in February. During his visit Max had his last basketball game of the season and Veronica had February Vacation. She went to Cool Science Club for a day and had a great time. We also got to see my work on PBS's NOVA, which was an absolute thrill for me. We took Gramps to the same restaurant where we celebrated Adrian's birthday, Island Creek Oyster Bar. Luckily, no snow storm this time! After brunch we headed over to the Buddes' house to celebrate Clark's birthday. Before Gramps left we headed over to the Winchester Library where Veronica's artwork was on display for the month.

February 2017

It was a tropical 86 degrees today in Boston! It was fun looking through the snow photos of February!

February brought snow (or course!), the kids goofing off in videos, Filipino School (IP), exploring the back 40 of our house's lot in the snow, Adrian's birthday lunch (during a snow storm!), Valentine's Day, and Veronica reading to Max.
