London Day 5: Westminster, Buckingham Palace, Battersea, and Carnaby, April 2019

On Day 5 in London, we walked around Westminster, which included Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament. Then we watched the Changing of the Queen's Life Guard/Horse Guard Parade. We walked past the Admiralty House to St James Park, which was teeming with gorgeous flowers and swans. After St James Park, we checked out Buckingham Palace, where we met up with Erik! After the palace, we had a fantastic pub lunch at The Queen's Arms in Pimlico, then walked by the Battersea Power Station, where there were no pigs flying (points to you if you get that reference)! We had fun at the Battersea Park and their Children's Zoo. After Battersea, we headed back to the flats to rest up for dinner. Dinner was in the colorful neighborhood of Carnaby at a scrummy Indian restaurant called Dishoom. It was a fantastic day overall, but we missed Ninong, who was working in Manchester.
