Dear Preschool families,
Attached you will find a copy of a collage of our day in preschool as well as a copy of our weekly curriculum, my apologies for the curriculum being a day late. This week the preschool will focus on the letter of the week "I" and author's study for the next two weeks. This week's author is Eric Carle, the curriculum is focused around some of his books and the activities will "replicate" his art techniques and touch base on some insects. If you have any Eric Carle books that you will like to share with preschool please do feel free to bring them in. Today in Preschool, we defined the meaning of an author and an illustrator. We also discussed that we will be learning about the author and illustrator Eric Carle. We read Little Cloud. Our activities were; symmetrical cloud painting, cloud painting with pom poms, clay formations and reading Eric Carle books, and nailing pegs onto the letter I.
