April 2018

April 2018 started off with a bang! The 2-3 Room at Kids' Corner had their annual Rock Videos. Veronica has been looking forward to participating since she was in the K-1 Room.  The 2nd and 3rd graders split up into groups, make their own cardboard guitars, pick a song, and practice lip syncing to it while pretending to play the instruments and dancing. They get to dress up and show their stuff at the Rock Videos concert where all the other KC kids and the 2-3 parents are invited. Veronica's group chose "I Love Rock n Roll" by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. She was great and had so much fun! She even had a "guitar solo" with her friend Lucy. Check out the photos and the videos in the album linked below!

And here is video recorded by the Kids' Corner staff, much better than the videos I took! Click the bottom right corner to enlarge:

Other than the Rock Videos, April included the last snow of the winter, swimming lessons for the kids @MIT, IP (Filipino School), the start of Spring soccer, the Boston Marathon (our friend from Indiana ran it for the 3rd time and we caught her on TV), the kids dancing (check out the videos in the album), and Max getting his orange belt in karate (videos in the album)!
