This is what our street looked like from my home office around 2pm. Adrian and I managed to take 3 conferences calls between the 2 of us this afternoon.
And the shed on the side of the house:
The wind is whipping so fiercely that snow has piled all the way up our side door. This is the screen door open at around 2:40pm. Remember, it's 2 steps, then a third step up to get into the house.
You can see that the snow is piled up to our side door, but there's barely any snow on the cars. Also, you can still see the tires on both cars. Crazy blizzard snow piles.
Here's a photo through the screen door around 7pm:
This is a photo of where our driveway is supposed to be. It looks like between 1-2 feet of snow on the driveway, but 2-3 feet of snow at the end where the snowplows have kindly piled the snow from our street. That snow is much heavier than the stuff on the driveway. Hope Adrian and our snow thrower can handle it tomorrow!
And guess what? Winchester announced another snow day tomorrow! We need to get out of the house tomorrow, the kids are going crazy; us, too.
Love from the frozen North!
