Subject: Nov. 3rd- Fruit Day!
Hello Preschool Families!
Thank you so much for the many fruit contributions we received today
for our delicious fruit salad! The children were so excited to make
the fruit salad today. Under the supervision of Vanessa, the children
learned how to chop apples, pears, grapes and strawberries using a
plastic butter knife. They practiced their fine motor skills and were
very proud to have the responsibility of preparing their healthy
afternoon snack. They also scrubbed and rinsed each fruit, made prints
of different fruits by dipping them in paint, turned the house corner
into a restaurant (complete with menus and order tickets!) and
searched for "I" words to glue on their big "I". It was definitely a
busy and fun day! Be sure to have a look at the pictures attached!
