Veronica loves to eat crunchy crumbly food, like crackers and teething biscuits. Too bad vegetables don't come in crunchy crumbly format (uncooked carrots are a choking hazard). She also loves Pirate Booty, but I try not to give her too much of those--too much salt. And she LOVES salt. She's definitely my daughter. She loves to pick up small pieces of the pork adobo that Lilong made for her and try to get them in her mouth. She's successful half of the time. She's pretty good with the rice, too. It helps that it's sticky. (Which is such a pain to clean up off the floor!) She can basically eat anything now, except honey (botulism), nuts (allergies & chocking hazard) and anything small and hard that might choke her (dried fruit, etc.). She loves eating avocado by the spoon straight out of the shell and she loves cheese. She had taleggio last night--fancy, huh? She used to love all the different veggie purees we made for her (spinach, broccoli, edamame, green beans, sweet potato, squash) but now it seems she's decided she doesn't like the mushy stuff anymore. Again, she's growing too fast!

Hi Parents,
Hope you all enjoy the pictures we took today of them having snack in infant two. They loved holding a whole cracker and taking bites with the few teeth they have.
